Jessica Huff Bio

I am a librarian for the Roseville Public Library system and am based at the Downtown Roseville Library location.  Although I have experience in reference, programming, circulation and collection development, my primary job duties have recently shifted and I now spend most of my time writing grant proposals, preparing grant applications, and pursuing community partnerships.  Over the past two years, I have applied for and received eight grants for the Roseville Public Library.  I have always had a passion for writing and it is a joy to combine that with my passion for libraries.

I pride myself on being a librarian who is enthusiastic, optimistic, and creative.  I’m energized by new projects and new ideas.  I believe that the Eureka Leadership Institute will provide me with the tools, knowledge and motivation to implement new programs and resources at the Roseville Library.  I’m also excited to collaborate with other library professionals with similar goals and interests.

I have varied interests and hobbies and it seems as if they’re constantly changing.  I love exercise and have recently taken up boxing.  I also enjoy reading YA and chick lit novels, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
